Charlotte, who fought tirelessly to raise awareness of cancer in young people, sadly lost her battle with brain cancer on 24th February 2016.

I have, so far, lived to be twice your age. Life is not fair. From all of your videos that I have watched, I can admit that you were far more deserving of 38 years than me. Life is unfair and cruel. You were too good for this world.

We are the same age. And it’s surreal knowing how much of what you said so long back affected me now at this point in my life. I am sorry you were taken so soon. I don’t know you. But I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers forever. That’s a promise.

Dearest Charlotte, Today marks 8 years since your passing, you continue to inspire me in so many ways. You were so lovely, beautiful, funny and also incredibly brave when facing the worst of possible situations. Today I raise a glass to you Charlotte, you are forever in my heart.
